Post penetrating keratoplasty and post refractive surgery patients are not rare to come by for most contact lens fitters these days. The options available to manage the post-surgical cornea are now plentiful with contact lens choices consisting of soft, GP, scleral, hybrid and as well as multifocal possibilities. This article aims to inform the contact lens fitter of the available designs should they decide to retain the patient as opposed to referring them out. At the conclusion of this article, the fitter will have a general idea of the designs that may work best for the post-surgical corneas and how to evaluate the given concept on eye.
