COA^®, COT^®, COMT^® Written Certification Review Sessions

On Friday, May 3, 2019, the Association of Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology, Inc. (ATPO) will host COA, COT and COMT Written Certification Exam Review Sessions, along with the Train The Trainer Course Program, at the San Diego Convention Center, held in conjunction with the ASCRS/ASOA Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA, and the IJCAHPO Technicians & Nurses Program.


Breakfast and lunch will not be provided, please plan accordingly.

ATPO members receive discounted registration for this event. If you are not a member of ATPO or are not IJCAHPO Certified, you can purchase ATPO Membership and receive discounted registration. You must purchase membership first, Click here for dues.


Written Certification Exam Review Sessions: IJCAHPO COA, COT, and COMT content areas will be reviewed and discussed, ending with a question and answer session. These certification exam review sessions will not provide instruction of content, but will serve as an overview of content areas covered on the certification examination to help the attendee prepare for the exam.

Train The Trainer Course: You will be provided with an organized strategy to help you create and implement effective, ophthalmic specific training methods in your practice. Topics will include identifying a good trainer, matching learning styles, utilizing effective training techniques, developing a systematic approach and evaluating the success of your training methods.


Registrants will receive an automated e-mail confirmation to the preferred e-mail address indicated in their online profile. If no valid e-mail address exists, a confirmation will be mailed.
