On Friday, April 13, 2018, the Association of Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology, Inc. (ATPO) will host COA, COT and COMT written exam review courses, along with a Train the Trainer Session, held in conjunction with the ASCRS/ASOA meeting in Washington, DC, and the IJCAHPO Technicians & Nurses Program.

COT Review (3.25 A IJCAHPO Credits) 8:00 a.m. - Noon
Cost: ATPO-Member $90.00/ Nonmember $175.00
COMT Review (4.25 A IJCAHPO Credits) 7:30 a.m. - Noon
Cost: ATPO-Member $95.00/ Nonmember $180.00
Train the Trainer (2.5 A IJCAHPO Credits & 6.5 A COE) 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: ATPO-Member $150.00/ Nonmember $200.00

IJCAHPO COA, COT, and COMT content areas will be reviewed and discussed, ending with a question and answer session. These certification review courses will not provide instruction of content, but will serve as an overview of content areas covered on the certification examination to help the attendee prepare for the exam.

ATPO Train the Trainer Course: Learn the practical skills to create and deliver an effective, engaging training presentation in an ophthalmic environment, with real life strategies to help you deliver with confidence. Whether you train occasionally or full-time, one-on-one or in groups, this course will get you started, or bolster the techniques you are already using.
