The two day Florida Continuing Education Program will feature a wide variety of topics and speakers. The program is scheduled to run Friday - Saturday, June 2-3, 2017 from 7:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Attendees can earn up to 14 JCAHPO credits for attending. AOC, OPS and CABRN credits have been approved for this program.

The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) collaborates with the Florida Society of Ophthalmology (FSO) annually to provide continuing education for JCAHPO certificants. JCAHPO understands that some attendees have concerns about the selection of the meeting facility and hotel. Hotel and meeting space is selected by FSO based on hotel bids on the costs for hotel meeting space, food/beverage and other meeting costs. The meeting location selected by FSO was done prior the 2016 election and FSO is contractually bound to the hotel or they would face significant cancellation fees to move the meeting to a different facility.
