Course Description:

This course will cover the dangers of using cosmetic or decorative contact lenses that are designed to change the iris' appearance or color. There is an increasing demand for the use of these lenses and with that comes in increase in contact lens related complications. The course will also cover the possible complications (including microbial keratitis) and the approaches the FDA is taking to reduce the incidence of complications.
