Course Description:

This course will describe the skills necessary to work in the area of retina. It will describe all tools and instruments needed and used by the technician in a surgery setting.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Describe the initial work up by the technician for retinal evaluation.
  2. Describe what a proper OCT of the macula looks like.
  3. Identify and discuss the different names of retinal procedures.
  4. Discuss retinal verbiage.
