Course Description:

We will review biometry and keratometry methods and techniques, review current IOL calculations, and best practices when calculating IOL's for long, short, or post-refractive eyes for best patient outcomes.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Recognize best patterns in biometry.
  2. Understand keratometry and role of K's in IOL calculations.
  3. Understand the different current IOL calculation formulas in use and indications to use each.
  4. Understand how to handle challenging eyes based on anatomical challenges and post refractive history.
