Course Description:

This course will review the significant signs, symptoms and diagnostic criteria associated with IIH (Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension). Treatment and prognosis, along with the role of the technician in the care of IIH will be reviewed.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Discuss the signs, symptoms, and diagnostic criteria for IIH.
  2. Know the importance of careful history and testing in the diagnosis and monitoring of IIH.
  3. Understand the approach to treatment and the prognosis for IIH patients.
