The rules associated with scribing in ophthalmology, along with what has changed since electronic health records are used, will be discussed. Tips to help those who take on this responsibility will be offered.

2. List guidelines that are currently in place.
3. Explain ideas and tips on how to improve the role of the scribe in their workplace.
