Course Description:

Coding is a team effort and requires all staff to understand what is necessary to keep the practice profitable. Key areas such appropriately performing and billing testing services will assure practice success. All staff in the ophthalmic practice should be aware of the vulnerabilities and how to protect the practice. This course will provide coding scenarios that define what is necessary for testing services.

  1. Discuss the importance of coding knowledge with ophthalmic staff.
  2. Discuss coding scenarios that define what is necessary for testing services.
