Age-Related Macular Degeneration: A New Era

As the leading cause of visual loss in the industrialized world, the impact of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) continues to be significant. To date, treatment options had been mainly for the exudative form of the disease and while they offered hope, vision still tends to slowly deteriorate under these treatments. With new antiangiogenic drugs becoming available., the probability of stopping visual loss or regaining vision is much higher. This session will explore available and future therapeutic concepts to treat AMD.

This is one of the worst ones I have seen via video. It is literally ALL STATISTICS. He names the medications, but not how they work, how it effects the Wet ARMD and did not really discuss the new treatments that are available for dry AMD
