Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT) Certification Exam Prep Course (Online)

Prerequisite: COT certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited COMT program and verification from the program director will be required.

Description:This course is designed to prepare the attendee by providing a general review of the content areas for the IJCAHPO COMT multiple-choice certification exam and the following clinical skills: versions and ductions, pupil evaluation, fundus photography and fluorescein phases, ocular motility and manual lensometry. An introduction to the simulation component will be provided.

This prep course essentially takes the COMT test criteria, skims over the basics, and includes several distracting pauses of a phone buzzing in the background.
