Retinoscopy measures an eye's refractive error by using a retinoscope. In this course, you will learn how the retinoscope operates. This course will describe ametropia, emmetropia, myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. You will learn to differentiate between "with" and "against" motion and "neutral" behavior of the reflex. The definition of the refinement of the sphere, cylinder axis, and cylinder power will be discussed.
