Oculoplastics is a field of study within ophthalmology limited to the tissues and structures surrounding the eye (i.e., orbit, eyelids, and lacrimal system). Abnormal eyelid findings may be associated with many systemic conditions and their presence may reveal a life-threatening disease. This module aims to provide allied ophthalmic personnel with an understanding of basic oculoplastic disorders to aid in the successful treatment and management of common oculoplastic complaints.
