On Friday, May 10, 2024, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., IJCAHPO will offer the COT Certification Exam Prep Course on Friday, May 10. Registration for the main EYEXchange MSP program is separate from the Certification Exam Prep Course and Optics Clinical Skills Learning Lab. Attendees must register and pay a fee separate and independent of the main program. Please contact IJCAHPO for registration and details for these optional programs. Additional fees apply.

Prerequisite: COA certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited COT program required. Verification from the program director will be required.

Description:An interactive course designed to prepare the attendee for the IJCAHPO COT written certification exam. This prep course will cover all areas included in the IJCAHPO core certification content. An introduction to the simulation component will be provided.

Session material is based on the instructor's interpretation of the content areas outlined in the IJCAHPO Criteria for Certification and Recertification Handbook. The instructors of this review session have no direct knowledge of the specific certification exam questions.

Registration for the main EYEXchange MSP program is separate from the Certification Exam Prep Session. Attendees must register and pay a fee separate and independent of the main program. Please visit the registration desk outside the session room for onsite ticket availability.


Registrants will receive an automated e-mail confirmation to the preferred e-mail address indicated in their online profile. If no valid e-mail address exists, a confirmation will be mailed. If you have not received a confirmation prior to the program date, please call our Administrative Services Department at (800) 284-3937.

Specific special accommodations should be related to functional limitations. Please include additional supporting documentation from the medical professional who diagnosed the condition. Cancellation/Refund Requests:
  • All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by IJCAHPO in writing prior to the registration and cancellation deadline noted in the program brochure. A cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration to cover a portion of IJCAHPO's processing costs.
  • Refunds will not be offered for cancellation requests received after the deadline or for non-attendance.
  • Refunds will be processed no later than 6 weeks after the program date.

Cancellation of Program by IJCAHPO:
  • If a program is cancelled or rescheduled by IJCAHPO, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible. Attendees will be offered the ability to be transferred to the new date (if applicable) or another program as well as the ability to refund their registration fees.
