On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m., IJCAHPO will offer the COMT Certification Exam Prep Course.

Prerequisite: COT certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited COMT program and verification from the program director will be required.

Description: This course is designed to prepare the attendee for the IJCAHPO COMT certification exam. This prep course will provide a general review of the content areas for the multiple-choice exam and the following clinical skills, time permitting: versions and ductions, pupil evaluation, fundus photography and fluorescein phases, ocular motility, and manual lensometry.

Session material is based on the instructor's interpretation of the content areas outlined in the IJCAHPO Criteria for Certification and Recertification Handbook. The instructors of this review session have no direct knowledge of the specific certification exam questions.

Cancellation/Refund Requests:
  • All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by IJCAHPO in writing prior to the registration and cancellation deadline noted in the program brochure. A cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration to cover a portion of IJCAHPO's processing costs.
  • Refunds will not be offered for cancellation requests received after the deadline or for non-attendance.
  • Refunds will be processed no later than 6 weeks after the program date.

Cancellation of Program by IJCAHPO:
  • If a program is cancelled or rescheduled by IJCAHPO, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible. Attendees will be offered the ability to be transferred to the new date (if applicable) or another program as well as the ability to refund their registration fees.
