On Thursday, April 25, 2024, 5:30-8:00 p.m., Central Time, Training and Supervising Ophthalmic Clinic Personnel: Principles and Applications. Attendees must register and pay a fee separate and independent of the main program. Please contact IJCAHPO for registration and details for these optional programs. Additional fees apply.

Description: This session will discuss the essential principles needed in training ophthalmic personnel from needs assessment to retention. Learn what you will need to keep your clinic staffed and educated so that it runs efficiently. Topics include strategic staffing, implementing an in-office training program, and retaining staff. This course includes activities and practical learning.

Registration for the main EYEXhange Rochester program is separate from the Certification Exam Prep Session and Training and Supervising Ophthalmic Clinic Personnel: Principles and Applications. Attendees must register and pay a fee separate and independent of the main program. Please visit the registration desk outside the course room for onsite ticket availability.

Cancellation/Refund Requests:
  • All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by IJCAHPO in writing prior to the registration and cancellation deadline noted in the program brochure. A cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration to cover a portion of IJCAHPO's processing costs.
  • Refunds will not be offered for cancellation requests received after the deadline or for non-attendance.
  • Refunds will be processed no later than 6 weeks after the program date.

Cancellation of Program by IJCAHPO:
  • If a program is cancelled or rescheduled by IJCAHPO, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible. Attendees will be offered the ability to be transferred to the new date (if applicable) or another program as well as the ability to refund their registration fees.
