Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT®) Certification Exam Prep Session

Program Location: Virtual



Live Virtual COT Certification Exam Prep Session. This session will be held in two parts. The first part will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. The second part will be on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. Included in the registration fee will be an outline PDF handout sent via email on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Craig Simms MEd, COMT, CDOS, ROUB, CRT, will present this prep session. Attend for robust training that will thoroughly prepare you for the COT exam.

Prerequisite: COA certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited COT program required. Verification from the program director will be required.

Description:An interactive course designed to prepare the attendee for the IJCAHPO COT written certification exam. This prep course will cover all areas included in the IJCAHPO core certification content.

Cancellation/Refund Requests:
  • All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by IJCAHPO in writing prior to the registration and cancellation deadline noted in the program brochure. A cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration to cover a portion of IJCAHPO's processing costs.
  • Refunds will not be offered for cancellation requests received after the deadline or for non-attendance.
  • Refunds will be processed no later than 6 weeks after the program date.

Cancellation of Program by IJCAHPO:
  • If a program is cancelled or rescheduled by IJCAHPO, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible. Attendees will be offered the ability to be transferred to the new date (if applicable) or another program as well as the ability to refund their registration fees.
