Course Description:

Homonymous hemianopsia affects roughly 1 million patients in the US. It significantly impairs their mobility and their quality of life. Peripheral prisms are a simple and effective way to help patients with their awareness of their blind field.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand homonymous hemianopsia, the cause and resulting impairment.
  2. Learn how peripheral prisms can be used to patients with homonymous hemianopsia.
  3. Experience and train patients with peripheral prisms.
