Course Description:

This lecture covers common myths and misconceptions in the care of patients with glaucoma.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Discuss how patients do not often notice their visual field defects.
  2. Learn that IOP is not only significant risk factor for glaucoma.
  3. Discuss challenges in glaucoma medication adherence.
  4. Learn that glaucoma to be short surgery may be indicated for earlier stages of glaucoma.
