Course Description:

This course will cover imaging techniques specific to retinal vascular disease. The imaging techniques discussed include fundus biomicroscopy, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography, and indocyanine green. The discussion will be focused on how these techniques are used in the imaging of retinal vascular disease. Examples of features of retinal vascular disease as imaged by the described imaging techniques will be shown.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Describe imaging techniques for fundus biomicroscopy and fundus photography.
  2. Discuss imaging techniques for fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography, and indocyanine green angiography.
  3. Describe features of retinal vascular disease as seen in retinal imaging.
