Course Description:

This course will describe the clinical differences between the eyelid chalazion and the hordeolum. Both the etiologies and pathophysiologies of these common benign lesions will be described. The surgical treatment of the chalazion will also be discussed in detail.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Describe the clinical differences between the eyelid chalazion and the hordeolum.
  2. Describe the etiologies and pathophysiologies of these common benign lesions.
  3. Discuss surgical treatment of the chalazion.
