Course Description:

Course will describe toxic anterior segment syndrome, its cause, symptoms, and treatment, and how this syndrome can be avoided. Proper cleaning and disinfection of ophthalmic surgical instruments will also be discussed.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Participants will be able to define TASS.
  2. Participants will recognize the relationship between TASS in learning proper cleaning and disinfection of ophthalmic surgical instruments.
