August is Children's Eye Health and Safety Month! Even those who don't work in pediatrics can benefit from the skills discussed in this orthoptist-led presentation which explores age-appropriate pediatric vision screening through infancy and beyond. Instructors will review practical screening techniques, key visual milestones, and strategies to identify amblyopia, strabismus, refractive error, and neuro-visual concerns beyond the traditional eye chart. Emphasis is placed on adapting screenings for children and adults of all abilities to ensure early detection.
