This lecture describes the rare condition of complete lack of color perception. It will include material about the role of AOP in the various tests and history-taking questions as well as imaging that is done with patients who have, or are suspected of having, the condition.

1. Differentiate between color deficiency and achromatopsia.
2. Discuss basic genetics related to color vision.
3. Name three signs and symptoms that patients with achromatopsia often have.
