July 7 Graves' Ophthalmopathy This course will review Graves' Ophthalmopathy (GO). We will discuss the natural history of GO including "Rundle's Curve," how the orbital disease is unrelated to the thyroid status and the typical clinical findings of GO. Also, we will discuss the new FDA-approved treatment for active GO (Teprotumumab) as well as the surgical reconstruction options for patients.

July 14 Ophthalmic Imaging in 2020 This course will cover a review of the different retinal imaging technologies that are currently used. The topics will cover scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, optical coherence tomography and fluorescein angiography as well as OCT angiography. The course will describe the differences between the devices and what advantages and disadvantages the different devices have.

July 21 Refraction Problem Solving Using a standard process allows clinicians to approach each refraction in a calculated and sequential manner, eliminating simple mistakes. But, what happens when it is not simple and standard? When the dreaded glasses recheck or complicated patient with underlying etiology is sitting in your chair? There is no longer a standard process. We need to be able to use the knowledge, skills and tools we have to solve the mystery that is now sitting in front of you looking for help.

July 28 TASS (Toxic Anterior Segment Syndrome) Course will describe toxic anterior segment syndrome, its cause, symptoms, and treatment, and how this syndrome can be avoided. Proper cleaning and disinfection of ophthalmic surgical instruments will also be discussed.

After each broadcast, webinar access will continue until 11:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Purchase this webinar series and earn 4 IJCAHPO Group A credits for $25.
